Description:
R Lyrae appeared fairly near maximum tonight, brighter by about
0.5 mag than nearby zeta-1 or eta Lyr (both mag 4.4), but fainter
by slightly more than 0.5 mag than gamma Lyr (mag 3.2) further off.
(Estimate: 4 steps BTr than eta Lyr, 5 steps FTr than gamma Lyr.)
