Wonderful object at this aperture. Best viewed at higher power as it is
very small, it has a high surface brightness, and I immediately noticed
it's greenish color. At 207x, and 266x I noticed it looks very similar to a
double star, in that it appears like a double planetary! That is, a larger,
round, green-glowing blob.. just touching a less intensely colored, slightly
smaller round blob, to the east, with a hint of some bridging between them
to the north.
Worked well with and without the UHC filter, but the green was noted especially
well with it. Greenish glow NOT as intense as an object like the Orion nebula,
but still easily noticeable. I particularly liked the unfiltered view through a
9mm pentax ortho at 207x. Just a bit small, but quite bright at that exit pupil
near 1. NGC 7027 did appear almost starlike at 98x because of it's small
size.
