Constellation: Auriga
Object data: Open cluster
M36 was noticeably smaller than both M37, and M38. Maybe 2/3rds
the size. However, it's individual stars were brighter.
Oddly, this cluster too seemed to take on a star-like appearance
at this aperture, just like M37 and M38. However there was no reddish central
star in this one! Very pretty. Note, there was a very thin cloud deck at the
time of observation of this and M38.
