Object data: Galaxy - spiral - edgeon
Just got a quick look at this very impressive object. It is a high surface
brightness object about 8 arc minutes long. It is a clearly an edge-on
spiral galaxy, quite narrow, and brighter towards the core. Much
more structure than NGC 2976 also viewed in the same session.
Looks almost photographic.
