Object data: Open Cluster
NGC 1513 is a most interesting mid-sized open cluster
with a myriad of dim stars. For the lack of being able to
describe it better, the cluster looks like two breasts. That
is, two bags of stars (I believe pointing north) the easternmost
bag is simply a circle of dim stars with a dim star inside as well.
The westernmost bag is more irregular shaped. Both are connected
on the south side. While I did not confirm this, I think it probably
is best in larger aperture because of the lack of bright
members.
