Description:
Alcor and Mizar easily split almost to the edge of the field of view
at 47x. Nice separation tonight although there was noticeable
twinkling in the atmosphere.

Mizar is an interesting double. Both stars are quite white and quite
bright, although Mizar B is MUCH smaller. This is an interesting
double that anyone can easily see and resolve with just a bit of
magnification.
