Description:
Large nebula in sections virtually invisible without filters. Visible
with both the UHC and the OIII filter, with the OIII perhaps having a
slight edge. The NE arc of the nebula is brighter, looking like a fat
parenthesis concave toward the west, about one-half degree long and
one-third as wide. The section near the bright star Eta Geminorum is
much more difficult to see and is visible as an amorphous patch of
light about 12' across SE of the star.
