Description:
M41 is always a fun cluster to observe--especially after hunting down a
tricky faint object. Almost dirrectly below Sirius and often visible to
the naked as a fuzzy faint patch--but not tonight because of a few high
clouds floating around. Excellent to view through binoculars and even
better through a telescope at low powers--use slow motion controls to
scan the entire cluster. Several fairly bright stars will fill the
eyepiece.
