Description:
M51 is always fun to look at.  Through the ETX M51 and its companion
NGC 5195 were easily identifiable with black space between.  The
classic shape seen in photographs is evident, but only an occasional
hint of structure was visible.  I have seen M51 through my ETX in
relatively light polluted skies.  I guess the long f/ratio... helps
the contrast a little.
