Description: large cluster of medium brightness, triangular shaped like an
arrow head pointing the West; NW and SO borders are linear and E side
curved inward; this cluster is well detached with quite sharp edges. A very
bright yellow star maybe mag.6-7 [6 CMi of v4.5, spectral type K0] is
separated but close to the NW border; maybe 30-40 stars: one of mag6, one
of mag9, 4 of mag10, 10 of mag11-12 and 20 of mag13-14; the density of
stars is weak and the cluster is completely resolved without central
condensation.

I can provide a scanned scheme of Dolidze 26 to anyone who can read the
binhex encoding of Eudora (for Mac); just mail me to try
(ypothier@abi.snv.jussieu.fr), it works sometimes with other
configurations...
