Description:
Small but bright galaxy, easy to overlook because of surrounding field
stars. This galaxy was at the limits of viewing for the scope and conditions.
This is a summary of several observations throught the evening. This sits in
a line with several brighter field stars and at 75x was easy to mistake for
some unresolved field stars. At 75x no real detail could be seen just a
smudge. Going to 150x began to show some detail and darkened the
background enough to give hints of structure. The galaxy showed a
brighter core with a hint of a dust lane below and a surrounding halo.
