Description:
Easiliy found planetary in a rich Milky Way field. At low power M27 is large
and round with the hourglass shape easily visible.
At 244X a very large and wonderful object! Three stars could be seen within
the nebula (But not the central star I think, but foreground stars).
Nice detail in this nebula. The hourglass shaped central 'bar' is not the same
brightness on either side, with the North being brighter than the Southern side.
These two bright condensations are connected by a somewhat dimmer area wich
runs through the middle of M27. This whole central area is surrounded by a
round dim haze of light.
