Constellation: SGE
Data: mag 8.3 size 7.2'
Position: RA 19:53.8 DEC +18:47
Description:
At 90x this globular will fool you into thinking that you are seeing
an open cluster. Several (@20) bright stars from the cluster form a
streched triangular shape, instead of the classic round globular
shape. Closer inspection shows a haze of background stars. Increasing
the magnification to 150x resolves more stars and better shows the
haze of dimmer stars.
