Description:
In the past, I've always found M33 impossible to find in even a mildly
light polluted sky. Out here in Weardale though it was relatively
easy. The large size depicted on star maps is often misleading, for
it is this size which often makes it disappointing in a small scope at
most powers. Even at x22 it nearly fills the field, but I was unable
to make out the spiral arms for which it is famous. Perhaps more
suited to observation through a Big Dob.
