Description:
NGC 6751 is a rather dim planetary nebula located in the depths of southern
Aquila. I had not looked at this object for some time so after I observed the
carbon star V Aquilae I traveled farther southward. At 118x (55mm Ploessl)
NGC 6751 was obviously nonstellar. Increasing the magnification to 202x (32mm
Koenig-II) produced a better image. No color was noted. Among the other
deep-sky objects that I observed were four more planetary nebulae: NGC 6210,
M57, NGC 6543, and NGC 7009.
