Description:
This is an addendum to my recent report on M30. Using a larger aperture and
higher magnification from a darker site yielded better results as might be
expected.
A stellar condensation or brightening was noted in the northern portion of this
globular cluster. Two prominent chains of stars extend to the north and
northwest. Using 406x was pushing the magnification on this object, but the
globular cluster M2, with a far more favorable elevation, looked very good at
that power.
