Personal "rating" (at this aperture, and sky condition): A-

A fabulous cluster that shows it's stuff above 30x. A ring of stars
surrounding the bright star Tau Canis Major is barely perceptible
at this aperture at 20x. At 60x and above, a good 25 stars of around
100-11th magnitude surround Tau in a perfectly circular swarm of bees
adding breadth and false depth to the cluster. Best viewed with averted
vision to bring out the weaker members at this aperture, but 85mm was
enough to bring out the richness of this odd masterpiece of star cluster.
I have never heard of this cluster prior and highly recommend it for
small-med. scopes as a showpiece.

thanks!
