Personal "rating" (at this aperture, and sky condition): B-
Medium sized .. highly elongated galaxy, easy find with fairly high
surface brightness, especially it's elongated core. The core was very
lumpy, mostly in two places, reminding me of M82, but smaller and not
as bright. Very "satisfying" to look at, even in my medium light
polluted woes. Averted vision helped bring out the extentions off the core.
Core was maybe 3-4 arc minutes with about 1+ arc minutes on each extention
thanks!
