Description:
Star-hopped from eta Gem. A V-shaped asterism points to this cluster.
At 32x, it filled part of the FOV. At 48x it filled most if not all the FOV.
There was a denser core that appeared pentagonal to me with several chains
of stars extending out in several directions. At 72x, there appeared an arc
of 8 stars in the lower portion of the core, with 2 additional stars
extending up, forming a flattened, inverted Y.
At 9:39, while I was jotting down these notes, clouds almost instantly and
completely covered the sky.
