Personal 'Rating' (at this aperture and sky condition): A-
M53 was only partially resolved, and much less impressive than
a quick look at M13 this morning at low power, but begins to become
quite impressive as you turn up the magnification. Stars just about
resolved to the core, with one particularly bright star on the NE side
of the cluster just out from the core area, enhancing the 3-D look
through the binoviewer. Noticeably smaller than M13 and M3.
