Description:
At 100X this planetary was extremely faint, pretty large, round and not brighter
in the middle. The UHC helps the contrast, but this faint nebula was
never held steady. I would estimate that I only saw it about 30 percent
of the time. Covering my head with a dark cloth, even at a dark site,
was some help. Still an object that is at the limit of the 13 inch.
It is also known as PK 217+14.1.
