Object: M 1-16 (PK 226+05.1; PK 226+5.1; Sa 2-11; ARO 239)
Category: planetary nebula
Constellation: MON
Object data: Vmag=13.0; dim.>3"; type ?+VI PN; central star of Vmag=16.94;
discovered by Minkowski in 1946; ELCAT: [OIII, 495+501nm] = 18 x [Hbeta,
486nm].
RA/DE: 07h37.3m, -09°39' (2000); Uranometria 274

Description: at 211x and OIII, stellar PN and faint, about mag13
(12.5-13.0); with a suspected brighter center (?); UHC has a good contrast
gain, OIII a very good one and Hbeta has no positive effect; mag13 stars at
40"NNW and 60"SSE.

encoding of Eudora (for Mac); just mail me to try
