Position: RA 10:45 DEC +11:45
Description:
Easily located galaxies in Leo. M95 is a small, round and rather difficult
galaxy. Hard at 98X but easier at 203X. Bright nucleus surrounded by a fainter
outer halo. Located close to a mag. 10 star.
M96 is much easier to see than M95, it is slightly elongated NW-SE and has a
very bright nucleus. At 203X the view is much improved but no real details
are seen.
