Description:
46cm. 642X. Observation is without filtration. OIII, H-beta, and Deep Sky filters totally obscure the PN. PN is extremely faint, and extremely small in the field of view. Principally visible in averted vision, the PN does become more visible with extended integration and moderate movement of the telescope. No definite shape to the PN was noted. Given the small size of this PN, it would be best to observe this object under only the best possible seeing and with larger aperture. Supplemental information: observed under moderate humidity, 65F, 30 degree light dome from Elijay, about 4 miles distant, Milkyway is visible to the horizon, overhead telescopic limiting magnitude in excess of 15.9m at 250X, seeing 4/10 at about 8 arc seconds, moderate sky contrast. The Puckett Observatory, Elijay, GA, lat 34d 43m, lon 84d 32m, alt 488 meters.
