Description:
This is my favorite globular cluster, located very near the teapot asterism.
Under very low magnification, the cluster is seen as a very bright,
almost nebulous patch of stars, although it is no resolved. However,
the cluster appears granular and more condensed towards the
middle. Under this very low power, thick streamers of nebulosity
appear to fade out from the central condensed portion.
