Object data: Vmag=13.4; Bmag=15.0; 30"x30" (31"x31" in IDB); type IIc;
central star of Vmag=19.4; discovered as a PN by Abell in 1955; ELCAT:
[OIII, 496+501nm] = 18 x [Hbeta, 486nm].
RA/DE: 18h59.35m, +48°28.2' (2000.0)
Date and UT of observation: 11 July 1993, 22h30UT
Location & latitude: La Clapiere Obs. (France, latN44 40 00, longE06 27 36)
Site classification: rural, alt.1650m (5500ft)
Limiting magnitude (visual in UMi): 6.0
Transparency (1 to 5 - best to worst): 1
Seeing (1 to 5 - best to worst): ?
Moon up (phase?): no
Instrument: Meade SCT 8"/203mm  f/10
Magnification: 145x
Filters used: OIII

Description: at 145x, small PN, very faint, round; about 40" in diameter,
good contrast gain with UHC and very good one with OIII; homogeneous with
ill-defined edges; mag12 star 50" from the NE edge and mag13 star 35"SSE
from this last star; mag8.5 star 2'SW.

binhex encoding of Eudora (for Mac); just mail me to try
