Description:
I had not seen M74 with my 80mm Refractor so far. Now I started a new trial
with my 4" Astroscan. Using a 28mm eyepiece it was very difficult to capture
a glimpse. Only with averted I were able to catch a fuzzy glow. But using
a 17mm eyepiece and averted the faint patch was clearer. It appeared quiet
extended and was at visual border.
