Object data: Vmag=11.4; Bmag=11.3; 6"x6"; type IIa; central star (sp.WR) of
Vmag=14:; discovered by Pickering in 1882; ELCAT: [OIII, 496+501nm] = 17 x
[Hbeta, 486nm].
RA/DE: 19h31.28m, +10°03.4' (2000.0)
Date and UT of observation: 01 August 1995, 23h15 UT
Location & latitude: La Clapiere Obs. (France, latN44 40 00, longE06 27 36)
Site classification: rural, alt.1650m (5500ft)
Limiting magnitude (visual in UMi with averted vision): 6.3
Transparency (1 to 5 - best to worst): 1
Seeing (1 to 5 - best to worst): 2
Moon up (phase?): no
Instrument: Coulter 445mm/17.5" F/4.5
Magnification: 45-145x
Filters used: UHC, OIII

Description: at 145x, stellar PN, bright with sharp edges; fuzzier than the
other nearby stars at 312x; brighter center; about 6" in diameter and about
mag11; UHC gives a good contrast gain and OIII a very good one; grayish
tone; a mag14 star is 30" to the SSE (PA160d).

binhex encoding of Eudora (for Mac); just mail me to try
