Object data: Vmag=12.9; 38"x38" (83"x39" in IDB); type V; central star of
Vmag=16:; discovered by Marth, as a PN by Minkowski in 1946; ELCAT: [OIII,
496+501nm] = 21 x [Hbeta, 486nm].
RA/DE: 19h11.14m, +30°33.0' (2000.0)
Date and UT of observation: 21 July 1993, 22h30UT
Location & latitude: La Clapiere Obs. (France, latN44 40 00, longE06 27 36)
Site classification: rural, alt.1650m (5500ft)
Limiting magnitude (visual in UMi): 6.0
Transparency (1 to 5 - best to worst): 1
Seeing (1 to 5 - best to worst): 3
Moon up (phase?): no
Instrument: Meade SCT 8"/203mm f/10
Magnification: 145x
Filters used: OIII
Description: at 145x, small to medium sized PN (about 30" in diam.
estimated on drawing), faint or very faint, only visible with averted
vision; round, brighter towards the center, with ill defined edges; better
seen with OIII, a little larger (about 35"); already seen at 87x with OIII;
a mag14 star is 50" from the WNW border; a mag12 star is 1.1' to the ESE; a
mag10 star is 3.0' to the W.

binhex encoding of Eudora (for Mac); just mail me to try
