Description:
I had the complete Orion Nebula region with M 42, M43 and NGC 1981 in my
eyepiece. M 42 and M 43 were very bright. I only were able to see two stars
of the Trapezium at this magnifications. NGC 1981 appeared north from M 42
with about 10 stars, all with approximately the same brightness. The cluster
was well resolved but poor. I also tried to glimpse the reflection nebula
around 42 and 45 Orionis, NGC 1977 but I had no success. All in all it was
very impressive to capture the whole region at once.
