Description:
NGC 1342 was faint but still clear with direct vision. It appeared concentrated
and resolved. But I saw only a few fainter stars. To find it I pointed my scope
in the middle between Algol and Rho Persei. Then I moved it via Omega and
SAO 56322 in lower left direction, where NGC 1342 is placed southwest of two
7m or 8m stars in a row.
