Description:

NGC 3945 was roughly circular in shape and rather prominent at 118x.  Increasing
magnification brought better views of this fairly large barred spiral galaxy,
with 259x producing the most pleasing image.  Some degree of condensation was 
noted.  A rather dim field star lies just north of NGC 3945.
