Position: RA 10:23 DEC +19:53
Description:
Neither galaxy was seen at 49X and this is a small and difficult pair at 98X.
NGC 3227 is a little elongated and has a starlike nucleus while NGC 3226
looked rounder and smoother.
At first glance this pair seems like a single galaxy with a double nucleus, but
closer scrutiny reveals the double nature of these galaxies.
The view did not improve much with higher magnifications.
