Description:
IC 1029 and NGC 5673: 12th mag spiral galaxies in Boo.
I chose these two spirals at random when I went back in the house.
Both galaxies appeared in the same field, even at 165x. IC 1029 was
the brighter, making a tiny, faint elongated smudge with a stellar
core. It was not obvious at 82x; I had to go to 165x to bring it out.
NGC 5673 appeared very similar in shape, size and orientation,
although it is fainter and had no apparent central core. It appeared
slightly mottled. There is a faint star right off the eastern end.
