Description:
I used the short base of Triangulum as a pointer to locate this. The nearby cluster NGC 703 that others have mentioned was not visible to me. The pair was easilly split and appeared as 2 equal, somewhat greyish-white stars. Immediately adjacent was a line of 3 stars of similar magnitude, together these 5 formed a “hockey stick” asterism.
