Personal "rating" (at this aperture, and sky condition): B
NGC4565 was fairly easy to find at around 35x, but looked best
in this scope at around 60x. A classic near-needle with an elongated
brighter core area noted, but not the famous dark lane seen in
larger aperture. Reminded me of dimmer, smaller, needle-like
galaxies as seen through larger scopes. Sky darkened nicely at 114x
around the galaxy, but at this aperture, it lost some of its punch
that close in.
