Description:
Another Herschell 400 galaxy, Bright and quite large with an obvious stellar
nucleus, It's round shape is evident and points to it's morphology of E type.
To it's immediate south lies the much fainter yet still visible NGC 3605 and to
the north NGC 3608.
also lying to the west is the fainter PGC 34407 . I did glimpse this once or
twice but it was elusive and as it was not on the chart I was uncertain as to
it's existence or my eyes playing tricks!
