Description:
M13 was a suprise tonight. I was looking for navigation stars in my search for M92 and I discovered there was a nearby Globular Cluster by 44 Herculis. It turned out to be M13 (Great Cluster). It is a very nice object for a small scope like mine to see. It fit nicely in with 7.3 mag and 6.8 mag stars on either side of it. I did see the faint specs of light of NGC6207 and NGC6196 but nothing I could really see.
Happy skywatching!!
Mark
