Description:
With a 35mm Ultima yeilding 11x with a 4.3 degree field of view, 150 to 200
stars were visible centered on Orion's Belt in a rough oval. The members are
fairly evenly distributed both spacially and by magnitude - a very open and
loose cluster with no centralization. This group of young stars, which does
include the Belt stars, formed together about 12 million years ago. It is
known as the Orion OB1 Association.
