Description:
M14 is about 6 arc minutes in diameter. The gc seems a little looser than its neighbours M10, and M12. Only with averted vision could I detect a brightening towards the center.
This cluster is about twice the distance from us as compared to M10 and M12 thus explaining why the core is harder to detect.
