Description:
NGC55 is low in the sky, less than 17* altitude at this time.

55X - A faint glowing streak oriented near E-W.

117X - Core is bright, but non stellar. There is a hint of dark lane in the
Western ansi and tyhe lane extends about 1/3 across the western side of the
core. The Eastern ansi is very abreviated, probably overwhelmed by a bright
star just south of the galaxy
