Description:
117X - Bright pair (44 Orion) are surrounded by glowin nebulosity with just a hint of a dark inclusionto the N-E and a faint notch to the South east. It is almost as difficult as the Horsehead and smaller. There is ano0ther glowing patch just visable to the N-E near the FOV. The O-III filter did not help.
It dimmed the nebula too much to see any detail.
