Category: Open cluster.
Class: II 2 p
Constellation: Ori
Data: mag 8.7v size 4.0'
Position: RA 06:12.2 DEC +05:27
Description:
203X - Weak cluster of dim stars concentrated in a stream running NE-SW. Six
brighter stars (10-11 mag) in a zigzag pattern dominate the cluster.
The background stars make it difficult to determine if cluster or background
stars. There are several intersting areas of sweeping arcs of very faint stars,
14 mag and fainter to the very visual threshold. (With the 12" I can see 15.2-
15.6 mag in good sky conditions)
