Description:
203X - A central brightning shows up as a bar oriented along the major axis with an almost stellar core showing some elongation along the major axis. Dust lanes observed with difficulty. After dark adaptation, cover the observing eye for a minute or two, then quickly look at 2903 and the spiral structure is visable for a moment then fades into a featurless oval with a core. To the north there is 2 streams of stars that almost form a 'V' pointing west, but the apex star is missing.
