Description:
Famous open cluster in Scorpio, large and bright, consisting of many
bright stars; it is denser than nearby M 7. Like its name says it
looks like butterfly, specially the brightest part. With faintest
part it remindes me more on 4-pointed "star". Several very bright
(6-7m) stars are just at the edge of it. Sketch is available at the
