NGC3226 -14.4v; 2.5' x 2.2'; PA=15*; RA10:23.5, DEC +19:53

117X - Faint round fuzzy.

203X - Faint round with brighter coreand a stellar nucleus and a faint star superimposed on galaxy to the S-E near the boundry between the core and halo.

NGC3227 - 10.3v; 6.5' x 4.5'; PA=155*; Class Sa; RA 10:23.4, DEC +19:51

117X - Faint oval fuzzy oriented SE-NW.

203X - Faint fairly large oval pointing almost at NGC3226 to the NW. The halo
is dim, requiring averted vision, but the core is bright and quite small,
almost stellar with just a little softness. The halo fades gradually from dim
to invisability.
