Filter(s): UHC
Object(s): NGC6882, NGC6885
Category: Open cluster.
Class: See Below
Constellation: Vul
Data: mag ------ size ----------
Position: RA --------:--------- DEC -----------:---------
Description:
NGC6882; 8.1v; 18.0'; Class II 2 p; RA 20:11.7, DEC +26:33'.

117X - There are approximately 50 9-13 mag stars. There is one asterism that is
srongly reminescent of the Cassiopeia 'W' and there are several arcs and
straight strings of stars.

NGC6885; 8.1v; 7.0'; class III 2 p; RA 20:12.1, DEC +26:39'.

117X - The bright (5.91V) star, Vulpecula 20 markes the center of NGC6885.
NGC6885 is mostly indistinguishable from NGC6882. The majority of NGC6885's
stars are in a tight group around Vulpecula 20 with a faint arrowhead shape
just to the West. (The NSOG; Vol 2, Page 483 makes reference to the lack of clustering around Vul 20, but I can see a clustering of faint stars very well.)
