Class:
Constellation: Cyg
Data: mag 13.3 size 1.4'
Position: RA 21:00 DEC +54 :33
Description:
An outstanding object which was immediately noticeable even in the 32mm wide
field eyepiece, it lies to the North of a pair of Stars mag 10 and 12. At 200x
without the OIII it looked large and extensive, structure was also readily seen
especially when the OIII was added, in this, the bright portion at the Southern
end was clear, as was the knot of brightness at the North, this made it seem as
though it consisted of two halves and such is almost the case as it is divided
a little by a gap in the nebulosity, also there were at least 2 stars visible
within the nebula itself of about mag 12+.
