Description:
At 101x (20mm Orion Ultrascopic, 30.7' true field), this galaxy looked about 2'
long and was quite narrow.  It is oriented NNW/SSE.  Some mottling and a near 
stellar nucleus visible with averted vision about half the time.  NGC779 is on
the Herschel 400 list.
