Description:
At 101x (20mm Orion Ultrascopic, 30.7' true field), this galaxy appeared large
and elongated E/W. It seemed about 4' long and 1.5' wide in the middle tapering
gradually to each end. This galaxy's largely featureless glow was just
barely brighter than the sky. NGC1055 is on the Herschel 400 list.
